Outgoing Spam Monitor Sales FAQ
No, osm does not scan the content of outgoing emails to detect spam. It monitors activity on the server including the exim logs and SMTP packet inspection to detect patterns that may indicate spamming activity.

Does MailScanner scan both incoming and outgoing mail to my server?
In the cPanel front-end I've set my domain to scan (or not scan) for spam and/or viruses, but mail is still not being scanned (or is being scanned when it shouldn't be).
Spam filtering does not seem to be working well and I am seeing "URIBL_BLOCKED" listed in the Spam Report for a lot of emails in MailControl.
